Test games - Wolfsburg loses despite goals from Access Amoura

The VfL Wolfsburg lost its first test in the preparation for the new season in the German Bundesliga against RSC Anderlecht in the Belgian First Division. Ralph Hasenhuettl's team lost 1:2 (1:0). Bright spot for the Lower Saxons was Mohamed Amoura. The new signing from Belgian Cup winner Royale Union Saint-Gilloise scored the leading goal for VfL in the 14th minute. In the second half, the hosts turned the game around with goals from Kasper Dolberg (67.) and Nilson Angulo (69.).

VfL Wolfsburg, a Lower Saxony-based team, is set to participate in the Football Bundesliga this season. They began their season preparation with a test game against Anderlecht, a renowned squad from Brussels. Regrettably, they suffered a 1-2 defeat in this trial match, with goals from Kasper Dolberg and Nilson Angulo for Anderlecht. VfL Wolfsburg, however, showcased a promising performance, with Mohamed Amoura, their new signing from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, scoring the opening goal in the 14th minute. The team is scheduled to play more test games to further enhance their readiness for the Bundesliga.
