Why Gülcan Kamps thinks of Viva at the airport
The memory of the music channel Viva, which was discontinued almost five years ago, is obviously still very vivid for many people. Former presenter Gülcan Kamps told the German Press Agency about an incident at the airport. There was a man standing behind her who spoke to her about Viva and said: "You shaped my youth". In the end, they even hugged each other. Kamps added: "That was a very sweet moment."
The now 41-year-old was part of the team of presenters at the Cologne music channel Viva for many years from 2003. The channel went on air on December 1, 1993 - exactly 30 years ago. The TV station was discontinued at the end of 2018.
