Soccer Transfers - When Wiesbaden drafts defender Luckeneder
Soccer-Third league team SV Wehen Wiesbaden has signed Felix Luckeneder. The 30-year-old center-back joins from the Austrian First League and Europa League participant Linzer ASK on a free transfer, as the Hessen announced.
"Felix will be an important factor in our team both on the pitch defensively and in the locker room", said Sport-Business Manager Uwe Stöver. Luckeneder played a total of 156 matches in the top league of the neighboring country and ten international appearances in the Europa League and Conference League.
"We are very happy to have convinced such an experienced player as Felix after good talks about our way. He has a balanced mix of cleverness and physicality, has good timing in duels and has a strong left foot, which gives us several possibilities in the build-up play", said Coach Nils Doering.
