Weather forecast - Weather service warns: Heat in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland
Caution for Heat: The German Weather Service (DWD) warns of high temperatures in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland on coming Friday. The federal states are therefore affected almost uniformly by "strong heat stress".
Meteorologists expect peak temperatures between 28 and 32 degrees. They warn: "Heat stress can be dangerous for the human body and lead to a multitude of health problems." Therefore, it is recommended to drink enough, avoid direct sunlight and physical exertion, and keep your home cool.
The Weather Service issues a warning for strong heat stress when the perceived temperature already exceeds a threshold of about 32 degrees in the early afternoon. If the perceived temperature exceeds a value of 38 degrees in the early afternoon, a warning for "extreme heat stress" is issued.

In Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland, the DWD has issued a heat warning due to anticipated temperatures between 28 and 32 degrees next Friday. Excessive heat can pose risks to human health, as mentioned by meteorologists, who caution of potential health issues related to heat stress.
