Festivals - Watt and Schlick Festival starts in Friesland

The "Watt en Schlick Festival" at the North Sea coast of Dangast celebrates its ten-year anniversary this year. Approximately 6,000 visitors are expected to attend this sold-out music and culture festival at the Wattenmeer coast in the Friesland district, as the organizers announced. It opens on Friday afternoon (2:00 PM) with a performance by Brass-Band Moop Mama x Alice.

A total of 75 concerts, readings, and film screenings are scheduled on five stages directly before the World Heritage Site Wattenmeer from Friday to Sunday. The headliner on Saturday evening is the Minimal-Techno-Duo Kiasmos from Iceland and the Faroe Islands. On Sunday, Singer and Actress Paula Hartmann will perform.

The "Watt en Schlick Festival" is a celebrated annual event that showcases music and culture, taking place along the North Sea shore in Dangast, located in Lower Saxony's Friesland district.
