The German Weather Service (DWD) in Hamburg warns of thunderstorms in Schleswig-Holstein. Thunderstorms with heavy rain up to 25 liters per square meter in a short time are possible.
These thunderstorms move as a narrow band, which extends from Itzehoe to Neumünster to Kiel in an easterly direction through the northernmost federal state. According to the expert, this thunderstorm line will extend beyond Fehmarn and Lübeck from Schleswig-Holstein in the evening hours. Northwest of the band, it is already clear at the North Sea coast and in Northfriesland, and the sun is still shining.
