Before the Landgericht Frankenthal, on today (9:00 AM), the verdict is expected in a trial regarding bodily harm resulting in DEATH. The 30-year-old accused is alleged to have repeatedly hit a Jobcenter employee in Neustadt/Weinstraße in September 2023 in the face with his fist, causing their death. The prosecution considers the charge proven and demands a total sentence of six years. The defense spoke out in favor of an acquittal for the main charge. The sentence for further accusations - such as theft, damage to property, and defamation - should not exceed nine months.

The trial for the 30-year-old accused, who allegedly caused the death of a Jobcenter employee in September 2023 through repeated bodily harm, is being heard at the District Court in Frankenthal, Rhineland-Palatinate. If found guilty, the court process may lead to a sentence of up to six years due to the seriousness of the criminality involved. Post-death proceedings, known as Todsverfahren in German law, will also be considered as part of the afterdeath consequences following the incident.
