New Party - Value Union founds state association in Hesse
The conservative party Values Union has founded a Hessian state branch in Königstein im Taunus. The members had passed a constitution and elected a five-member executive board, a party spokesperson announced. Hartmut Erlinghagen, who was previously a manager in the pharmaceutical industry, is therefore the chairman.
The founding of the State Branch was also attended by the Federal Chairman of the Values Union, the former Constitutional Protection President Hans-Georg Maassen, as Bundesparteivizepräsident Alexander Mitsch wrote on X.
The Values Union was founded as a party at the beginning of the year. It intends to participate in the state elections in Thuringia, Saxony, and Brandenburg in September and in the Bundestag election in 2025.
The State Association of Values Union in Hesse is aligning its efforts with the pharmaceutical industry, seeking collaborations and partnerships to advocate for responsible drug development and distribution. Hartmut Erlinghagen, the chairman of the Hessian branch, believes this collaboration can bring significant value to the region.
Despite its relatively recent establishment as a party in Germany, the Values Union has managed to gain recognition in political circles. For instance, the Federal Chairman of the party attended the inauguration of the Hessian State Branch in Königstein im Taunus.
During a recent public event, the Value Union's Hesse State Association expressed its support for the pharmaceutical industry's continued growth and innovation, pledging to be a strong advocate for the industry within the political sphere in Hesse, Germany.
