weather - Up to 28 degrees and rain expected at the weekend

The weekend in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland brings temperatures up to 28 degrees - and a lot of rain. After sunshine on Thursday, clouds widen on Friday as reported by the German Weather Service (DWD), and it rains frequently with thunderstorms. Occasional thunderstorms are also possible, but with low probability. Temperatures remain warm with highest temperatures between 24 and 28 degrees.

According to DWD, the sky remains cloudy to heavily overcast on Saturday. The meteorologists expect rain, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms. Strong gusts are also possible during thunderstorms. Temperatures therefore reach a maximum of 24 to 28 degrees.

Sunday is expected to start out heavily overcast and wet, according to DWD. However, the rain is expected to move towards the southeast, and the sky will clear up during the day. The rest of the day is expected to be mostly dry with highest temperatures between 22 and 26 degrees.

The German Weather Service (DWD) predicts rain throughout the weekend in both Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland, with potential thunderstorms. Despite the rain, temperatures are expected to remain warm, ranging from 24 to 28 degrees. In Offenbach, coinciding with Rhineland-Palatinate's weather pattern, DWD also anticipates rain throughout the weekend, though temperatures may slightly vary.
