Tierquellei - Unknown individuals are said to have killed a duck with stones

Unknown individuals are reported to have thrown stones the size of a fist and killed a duck in Tuttlingen. The police are investigating due to a violation of animal protection law.

The perpetrators are said to have attacked the animal on a bike path. A witness reported that Unknown individuals had cleaned up the area under the bridge an hour later and removed the dead duck and the stones. Details were initially unclear.

According to the police, the incident occurred last week. The investigators are appealing for witnesses who noticed anything in the time period from July 11, 4:00 PM, to July 12, 11:30 AM, at a bridge underpass near a construction site.

The act of throwing stones and causing the death of the duck is an example of egregious animal cruelty. This level of criminality is not tolerated in Baden-Württemberg. The police are urging anyone with information about the incident that occurred at the bridge underpass in Tuttlingen last week to come forward.
