22-year-old died - Two men in custody after fatal U-Bahn accident
After a accident involving a motorcycle rider's death in Niederbayern, two men have been taken into custody. An investigating judge issued arrest warrants against the two 19-year-olds due to the urgent suspicion of manslaughter, as well as participation in an illegal car race and endangering road traffic, according to the police.
The men are suspected of having staged a race in early July on the Bundesstraße 388 in Unterdietfurt (Rottal-Inn district), where a 22-year-old motorcycle rider lost her life. One of the car drivers is said to have swerved to overtake in the oncoming lane, according to earlier police statements.

A car driver following behind the motorcycle also collided with the man's car. The 53-year-old woman was seriously injured. After the accident, the police set up an investigation team, which is now leading to the arrest of the two suspects.
The alleged accident occurred in the rural area of Lower Bavaria, specifically on the Bundesstraße 388 in Unterdietfurt. The incident involving the motorcycle rider's death took place in the same region, known as Niederbayern.
