At a single-family house fire in Brunstorf (Herzogtum Lauenburg district), two people have been lightly injured. The 25 and 29-year-old inhabitants of a ground-floor apartment managed to save themselves from the burning building, according to the police. The pair's cat was also rescued and taken to a veterinary clinic.

The fire reportedly broke out in the attic of the single-family house. The damage is estimated to be around 190,000 Euros. The house is currently uninhabitable. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. Previously, the "Hamburger Morgenpost" reported on the fire.
