General overhaul comes later - Too strong Wind: Rickmer-Rickmers-Voyage in Yard postponed

The crossing of the museum ship Rickmer Rickmers to Norderwerft has been cancelled due to the strong winds. The relocation planned for Wednesday evening has been rescheduled to Thursday evening, a spokesperson for the German Press Agency said. The 128-year-old cargo carrier is planning a multi-week overhaul. It is scheduled to return to its usual berth in the Hamburg Port on August 12. The Rickmer Rickmers has been lying at the landing bridges since 1987 and can be visited daily.
