Animal daycare - Tochka and Timur are no more turtles
Now they are no longer cubs: At the Cologne Zoo, two little Siberian Tigers were allowed outside for the first time. The two April-born siblings, "Tochka" and "Timur," will be regularly visible in the outdoor enclosure in the future, according to the zoo. In the first weeks after birth, the tiger cubs had remained in the den with mother "Katinka." During their initial exploration of the outdoor enclosure, the little predators had behaved cautiously, said a zoo spokesperson. "They acted like cats and first checked out their surroundings. Later, however, they also played on the steps and roared. Perfect. Everything went smoothly." In the end, they were just big cats.
The Siberian Tigers, Tochka and Timur, hail from the renowned Cologne Zoo, located in the vibrant city of Cologne, which is part of North Rhine-Westphalia, a federal state in Germany. The outdoor enclosure in the zoo has been Level-ed up to accommodate their growing needs and curiosity. Miscellaneous facts about the Cologne Zoo include its rich biodiversity and commitment to wildlife conservation efforts.
