Criminal Asylum-seeker - Thuringia releases intensive care inmates from detention
During the expulsion of a repeatedly convicted, rejected Asylseeker from the Weimarer Land district, the state has expelled another intensive offender from Morocco. The 36-year-old was taken from Suhl-Goldlauter prison to Hannover Airport on a Wednesday and flown to Morocco accompanied by German federal police. The Interior Ministry made this known.
"I am very happy that we have gotten rid of this criminal", said Interior Minister Georg Maier (SPD). It shows that the rule of law is capable of acting when the country of origin cooperates in an expulsion. In the case of the intensivist residing in Weimarer Land and also from Morocco, the expulsion has so far failed due to Morocco's refusal to issue a pass for this man.
The now expelled 36-year-old is reported to have committed numerous crimes in Germany, including bodily harm, property damage, and serious shoplifting. There were 16 closed criminal proceedings against him by various prosecutors.
The expulsion involved the Foreigners Office of the Unstrut-Hainich-Kreis, the Thuringian State Administration, the Interior, and the Migration Ministry.
- Despite the successful deportation of a dangerous offender from Hannover-Langenhagen Airport, the expulsion of an asylum seeker residing in Thuringia's Weimarer Land district, also from Morocco, has been delayed due to Morocco's refusal to issue a travel document.
- The intensive care nurse from Morocco, who was wanted for criminal activity in Erfurt, was an asylum seeker who had multiple closed criminal proceedings against him for infractions such as bodily harm, property damage, and serious shoplifting.
- The expulsion process for the asylum seeker involved collaboration between the Foreigners Office of the Unstrut-Hainich-Kreis, the Thuringian State Administration, the Interior Ministry, and the Migration Ministry.
- The expulsion of the rejected asylum seeker from Hannover-Langenhagen Airport marked a significant victory in maintaining law and order, as confirmed by Interior Minister Georg Maier (SPD).
- If Morocco cooperates with German authorities, it could potentially facilitate the expulsion of the asylum seeker residing in Weimarer Land and eventually reduce criminality in both Germany and Paris.
