Weather forecast - Thunderstorm expected in southwest on weekend

People in Baden-Württemberg should prepare for rain and thunderstorms on Saturday. A meteorologist from the German Weather Service stated that there will be a few showers at first, with changing to strongly overcast skies. "In the Stuttgart area, there will be showers and thunderstorms." Where thunderstorms occur, heavy rain of up to 40 liters per square meter per hour is expected. According to DWD, temperatures on Saturday will range from 26 degrees in the High Black Forest to 31 degrees from the High Rhine to Lake Constance.

According to weather expert Rainer's statements, the showers will move towards Allgäu on Sunday and the weather will clear up. "By evening, it will be rain-free throughout Baden-Württemberg." Due to the less warm sea air that is expected to enter the federal state, temperatures on Sunday are predicted to be around 24-25 degrees.

The new week begins with a high pressure influence that brings sunny and rain-free weather, as well as temperatures of 28-32 degrees.

On Saturday, the Southwest region, including Stuttgart, is forecasted to experience thunderstorms and heavy rain by DWD. Rainer, another weather expert, predicts that the thunderstorms will shift towards Allgäu on Sunday, making Baden-Württemberg rain-free by evening. Despite the entering of less warm sea air, temperatures during the weekend in Baden-Württemberg are expected to hover around 24-25 degrees. The weather forecast for Sunday also indicates a predominantly rain-free weekend in Baden-Württemberg.
