Threats at two schools in Erfurt: police on site
Two schools in Erfurt received threats on Friday morning. The "Grundschule Am Schwemmbach" and the "Gemeinschaftsschule am Roten Berg" were affected, a police spokeswoman said on request. Emergency services are currently on site. The spokeswoman did not provide any information about the content of the threats for the time being.
Individual children had already been at the community school in the morning, the spokesperson said. They had been taken out of the building. Operations at the elementary school had not yet started, she said. Several buildings in Thuringia - including schools - already had to be evacuated at the end of October due to threats.
The emergency services were called to both schools due to the threat received. parents were notified to pick up their children as a precautionary measure.
