Thieves stole more than 1,000 skillets from the warehouse

Unknown individuals have taken ten skillets from a hall, they went through a window which was already damaged a few days ago. The value of the skillets is high.

Witnesses wanted - Thieves stole more than 1,000 skillets from the warehouse

Thieves stole more than 1,000 saucepans from a warehouse in Steffenberg (District Marburg-Biedenkopf). The stolen goods are worth around 45,000 Euro, according to the police.

The theft occurred, according to the police, between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. The thieves entered through a window that was only provisorily secured, which had been damaged during a previous burglary attempt a few days ago. They drove ten pallets up to the warehouse, unloaded the saucepans in cartons from the pallets, and made off with them. The police are investigating whether the burglary attempt and theft are related.

The stolen saucepans were likely stored in the warehouse before the burglary. The case has drawn attention to Criminality in the Hesse region, prompting calls for increased security measures.
