Second League - The deceased bailiff of Kaiserslautern is still deep

After the tragic death in an accident of team manager Peter Miethe two weeks ago at the training camp in South Tyrol, 1. FC Kaiserslautern is still training in seclusion. It is uncertain if anything will change in the coming weeks.

"We haven't talked about it yet. But we will have to take a step towards normality at some point," said coach Markus Anfang on Thursday during the media day at Fritz-Walter-Stadion. "Piet will be buried in the coming week and we have agreed to stay together until that date."

He appealed for understanding from fans and the public. "I hope that will be okay for everyone and that it will be respected. I believe that once the last farewell is behind us, we can also train publicly again," said the 50-year-old.
