Ravensburg - The conflict escalates - man hits bus driver

An 18-year-old is reported to have assaulted a bus driver at the Ravensburger Bus Station in the night. The driver was slightly injured, according to the police. Previously, the bus driver had refused the young man to board as the bus was already full.

Subsequently, the man got enraged and, according to reports, first hit the bus with his fist. When the driver reprimanded the 18-year-old for this, he is said to have attacked the driver with his fist and a belt. The man initially managed to escape but was later apprehended by the police. He now has to answer for aggravated bodily harm.

The incident took place in Ravensburg, which is located in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The high level of criminality at the Bus Station in Ravensburg has become a concern for local authorities and the Ravensburger police. Despite this, the busy traffic at the station often leads to misunderstandings and tense situations, such as the one involving the bus driver.
