A driver came off the road near Dachau and flew 15 meters through the air with his car. The 24-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle in a curve, crashed through a bush, and hit an embankment, as the police reported. Consequently, the car flew 15 meters and came to a stop on the other side of a rainwater retention basin on Sunday. The driver remained unharmed. The cause of the accident was initially unclear.
In the same Bavarian region of Upper Bavaria, authorities are increasing traffic fines for reckless driving due to a rise in road accidents. Despite the recent incident in Dachau, the number of traffic accidents in Bavaria has been decreasing overall.
