Criminality - Teaching student accused of secret student admissions
A teaching student from Underfranken has been charged because he is alleged to have made secret recordings of minor students. The 29-year-old from the Haßberge district was active as a relief teacher at a school in the same district, according to a spokesperson from the Center for Combating Child Pornography and Sexual Abuse on the Internet (ZKI) at the Public Prosecutor's Office in Bamberg.
In this capacity, the accused is said to have secretly created video recordings of boys between the ages of six and twelve at the school in various changing rooms between May and December 2023. The recordings were reportedly made during swimming lessons. Furthermore, he is said to have made secret recordings in classroom settings.
Additionally, the young man is said to have created several so-called image collages with child pornographic content from the video recordings. When the man's apartment was searched in January of this year, investigators reportedly found further child pornographic image and video material.
No longer active at the school
The man is reportedly no longer active at the school. However, the government of Underfranken is said to have taken labor law steps against him. The affected parents were reportedly informed of the allegations against the man at the time.
The man was reportedly brought to the attention of investigators through a report from a US-American online service. According to investigators, the accused is cooperating and helping to clarify the allegations.
The indictment charges him with violating the highest personal sphere and with producing and possessing child pornographic content. The decision on admissibility lies with the Amtsgericht Haßberge.
The teacher, hailing from Under Franconia, was initially employed as a relief teacher in a local school in his district. His actions, including secretly recording children between six and twelve during swimming lessons and in classroom settings, led to criminal charges in Bavaria's Center for Combating Child Pornography and Sexual Abuse. After being charged, he is no longer active at the school, with the government of Underfranken taking necessary labor law actions against him.
