Weekend weather - Summer peak in Berlin and Brandenburg

Under a blue sky, sunshine, and temperatures continuing to rise, people in Berlin and Brandenburg can look forward to summery days at the weekend. According to the German Weather Service, it will be dry with temperatures between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius on Friday. The night will also remain dry with temperatures between 13 and 18 degrees Celsius and light winds.

The forecast predicts highest temperatures of up to 32 degrees Celsius on Saturday and up to 33 degrees Celsius on Sunday. From Sunday afternoon onwards, patchy clouds will form and there is a chance of localized strong showers and thunderstorms in the evening. The new week will start with temperatures between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius.

During the summer peak, the Capital region of Berlin and Brandenburg experiences an influx of tourists seeking sunny weekend getaways. Potsdam, a popular destination, offers a stunning palace and park to explore under the warm weather. Despite the intense heat on Saturday and Sunday, there's a possibility of localized thunderstorms in the evening.
