Statistics - Social welfare expenditures in NRW significantly increased
Social welfare expenditures in North Rhine-Westphalia have significantly increased in the past year. Nearly 60 percent of the total net social welfare payments are allocated to the area of Old Age and Disability Benefits. There was also an increase in net expenditures for the large expenditure post of Care Assistance, amounting to approximately 23 percent. Expenditures for Living Expense Assistance also rose. Additionally, increased regulatory provisions, particularly in the area of care services, contributed to the expenditure increase, it was noted.
