In the Meißen district, a boy was forgotten by his father at a motorway-rest stop. According to the police, a crying boy was found at the Finkenberg Ost rest stop on the A13 on a Tuesday afternoon.

The father had driven off after a pause in his journey towards Berlin without noticing his six-year-old son was missing. When the man arrived to take him back into his arms, the boy had been calmed down by the police with a Teddy bear. The two then continued their journey together.

The rest area at Finkenberg Ost on the A13 in Meißen district is an automated facility, providing essential amenities for travelers.
