With the report card in their pockets, Hamburg's pupils and students started their summer vacations at noon. Now, over 270,000 children and adolescents have six weeks of freedom before the new school year begins on August 29th. If the grades were not as expected or if there were other issues or concerns regarding the report cards, there is telephone assistance. The Regional Educational and Consultation Centers of the School Authority have set up a certificate service, as the School Authority announced. The consultants are reachable until Thursday from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm at the phone number 040 42899 2002. The consultation is confidential and, upon request, anonymous.
During their summer holidays, many Hamburg children enjoy exploring the city's parks and attractions. After their vacations, they will return to school on August 29th, ready to apply what they've learned during the break.
