The Hamburg singer Nina Chuba is currently practicing driving a car, despite having had her driver's license for a longer time. "I know how a car works, but because I didn't trust myself in my reactions, I never dared to do it before", the 25-year-old told the German Press Agency in Hamburg.
Now she has been driving her car more often and even took a safe driving training. "That was good, I even drove fast", the Berlin native laughed. She has lost her main fear meanwhile.
The reason she took up this topic was simple. "I had made a promise to myself and if I set myself something fancy, then I unfortunately have to do it." With a wink she added: "I wanted to become an independent woman. That's the way to go."
Nina Chuba is currently on a sold-out Open-Air tour through Germany. On July 21, she performs in Emmendingen (Baden-Württemberg). At the moment, she is working on her second album. The singles "Nina" and "80qm" have recently been released. According to her own statements, she has sold 1.7 million record carriers, her music videos have been called up millions of times and she has over 860,000 followers on TikTok.
