Several cars are on fire in Leipzig.

In the night on Wednesday, two cars were set on fire in Leipzig. However, there were more cars affected in the following, the damage was extensive.

Criminality - Several cars are on fire in Leipzig.

Multiple cars were damaged by fires in Leipzig during the night. In Machern (Leipzig District), a vehicle was set on fire and four others were damaged, as the police reported. The damage amounted to 60,000 Euro. Shortly thereafter, the police received a report of a burning car in the Cécile Street in Leipzig-Sudost. The car was completely destroyed, and the damage is currently unknown.

It is still unknown how the cars were set on fire. In both cases, the Criminal Police are now investigating arson.

The fires in Leipzig seemed to be spreading, as another report of a burning vehicle emerged from Leipzig-Sudost. The Criminality in the Leipzig District is concerning, with three separate incidents of vehicle damage or destruction within a short span. The city of Leipzig, known for its rich history and culture in Saxony, is currently dealing with an unexpected surge in incidents leading to damage to property or goods. The Brand found in the vehicle in Machern might provide crucial clues for the investigators from the Criminal Police, aiming to automate their examination processes for a more efficient investigation.
