The Berlin Senate will contribute to alleviating the skilled labor shortage in the capital. During its session on Tuesday (10:00 AM) at the Rote Rathaus, it will focus on this topic.

Social Senator Cansel Kiziltepe (SPD) will provide an update on the current employment market situation. Following this, the Senate intends to adopt a skilled labor strategy, which both CDU and SPD have agreed on fundamentally during coalition negotiations.

Support for Businesses and Employees

The goal is to support the Berlin economy in securing skilled labor while also addressing the needs of employees in the face of structural changes in the labor market.

Additionally, the Senate will discuss the digital platform "Social Berlin," which aims to present social counseling and support offers. The project began at the start of the year, and the Social Senator intends to give an overview of the current status with an interim report.
