Roof truss in flames: 200,000 euros damage

An estimated 200,000 euros worth of damage was caused by a roof fire in Wäschenbeuren (Göppingen district). A police spokesman said that the 51-year-old occupant escaped outside unharmed on Thursday night. The cause of the fire had not yet been determined. The house was initially uninhabitable.

The fire department was called to manage the intense fires, as emergencies require immediate attention. Due to the roof truss blaze, subsequent inspections revealed that the house remained unfit for habitation.
