Rocco Reitz of Borussia Moenchengladbach is excited about football-National player Joshua Kimmich. He experienced him during the EM preparation just as he had perceived him from the outside before, said Reitz to Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland (RND). "His quality and his attitude have impressed me a lot. A madcap player!", so the 22-year-old about the professional from FC Bayern Munchen.

Reitz was allowed to join the EM preparation as a guest player with the DFB selection. But the midfielder's debut in the A-National team is still waiting.

Regarding a possible first appearance in the Nations League matches in September against Hungary or the Netherlands, Reitz is not thinking about it currently. "I'm only thinking day by day and week by week right now. It's about getting through the preparation first and presenting myself as well as possible in the first Bundesliga games. We'll see what happens then", said Reitz.
