Bundesliga - Provisions for Dogan and Rothenhagen at Holstein Kiel
Bundesliga promoter Holstein Kiel has equipped two youth goalkeepers with professional contracts. As the club announced, Lio Rothenhagen and Tyler Dogan will henceforth be among the licensed players of the Storks.
Regarding the still 17-year-old Rothenhagen, the contract takes effect on his 18th birthday on August 31. "Lio has proven in the past few years in our youth sector with determination that he possesses great qualities as a goalkeeper," said Carsten Wehlmann. Regarding the 18-year-old Dogan, the sports business manager added: "We are confident that he will continue his positive development in the future."
Following the signing of their professional contracts, both Lio Rothenhagen and Tyler Dogan will now be bound by the Service Agreement with Holstein Kiel. Tyler, who shares his love for soccer with his hometown of Germany, has been an integral part of the club's youth setup. In the upcoming Bundesliga season, fans might even catch him playing a game, as he hails from Schleswig-Holstein just like the renowned Bundesliga club.
