Prisoner escapes during exit - and is caught in the forest

Large police operation - Prisoner escapes during exit - and is caught in the forest

A prisoner escaped during an authorized exit in Bad Bramstedt (Segeberg District). He was accompanied by correctional officers during the exit, as the Police announced. After approximately four hours, the police discovered the 20-year-old man in a wooded area near the escape location. They took the man into custody. A large number of police officers searched for the fugitive, according to the announcement. A helicopter was also used.

The prison escape occurred in the municipality of Bad Bramstedt, which falls under the Segeberg District of Schleswig-Holstein. The escapee was apprehended during a police operation in a nearby wooded area.
