Munich - Possible murder offense - Investigations against 89-year-old

The police are investigating a suspected murder case against an 89-year-old woman. According to the police statement today, the 89-year-old woman reported to the police on Thursday that she had fatally injured a woman in a fight. Police found the woman dead in the apartment of the 89-year-old in Munich.

According to the reports, the victim showed "signs of massive blunt force trauma". The identity of the deceased woman was not initially disclosed by the Police.

Preliminary findings suggest that the woman was killed several days before her body was discovered. The 89-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday. A judge is expected to decide today whether the woman will be taken into custody for further investigation.

The victim in the homicide case was a resident of Bavaria, specifically Munich.
