After a suspected murder in the Berlin neighborhood of Britz, the police are looking for witnesses. A 69-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment on Pintschallee, according to the police. People who observed anything suspicious in the area of the crime scene are asked to contact the police with their tips.

According to the police, the woman was killed between approximately 9:00 pm on Wednesday, July 17, and approximately 7:00 am on Thursday, July 18.

On Saturday, the police and prosecutor's office had already announced that an autopsy of the body had provided indications of a murder. However, it is still unclear exactly how the 69-year-old woman died and who is behind the crime. A murder commission is investigating.

The suspected homicide in Britz, Berlin, has sparked concerns about increasing criminality in the area. The murder scene was located near the Ms. Pintsch's apartment on Pintschallee.
