On a Wednesday evening, the man, as reported by the Police, attacked officers with knives. The officers initially used pepper spray and gave a warning shot. When the man did not comply, they used their firearms. The 46-year-old man was hit in the upper body and critically injured. He was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
