Raids - Police search 18 apartments for child pornography
Due to suspicions of child pornography, investigators searched 18 apartments in northern Bavaria under the leadership of the Ingolstadt Criminal Police. According to reports, 16 suspects were encountered in total. Among them, further measures were allegedly taken against six individuals, such as identification procedures or DNA sample collection. The investigators secured mobile phones, computers, tablets, data carriers, and other storage media during the searches. Additionally, the officers found a slingshot at one of the suspects' residences.
The investigations into child pornography occurred not only in Ingolstadt but also in other parts of upper Bavaria, Germany. The Bavarian Criminal Police, with a focus on the Ingolstadt division, spearheaded these raids. The suspects, numbering eighteen in total, were primarily from upper Bavaria. Post-raids, the police arrested six individuals for further interrogations, which included identity checks and DNA sample collections.
