The black SUV is said to be an ML Mercedes. It is believed to be from 2007. This second series of the M-Class was produced between 2005 and 2011.

The police set up the "Brendel" special commission on Monday. It is named after Brendelweg, which borders directly on the scene of the accident.
Garages should be vigilant
The police are asking for information about the vehicle. The appeal is aimed at the general public as well as garages or private mechanics who might come across a vehicle matching the description.
However, the officers are also appealing to the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident. "Anyone could be involved in an accident. Get in touch with the police and contribute to a complete clarification - especially in the interests of the relatives," reads a statement.
The black SUV, believed to be involved in the fatal traffic accident in Delmenhorst, is reportedly an ML model from Mercedes-Benz, produced between 2005 and 2011.
