Wolfenbüttel - Police discover 21 animals and drugs in squalid apartment

The police in Wolfenbuttel discovered seven dogs and 14 quails in a man's apartment. The animals had been kept under poor hygienic conditions, the police announced at noon. In addition, officers found 22 cannabis plants and other narcotics in the apartment.

A witness called the police because they had observed a man climbing over the balcony into the apartment with a ladder. It turned out that the apartment owner had locked himself in. The police are investigating against the man, according to their statement, for violations of the Cannabis-, Narcotics- and Animal Protection Law.

  1. The discovery of drugs in the man's apartment in Wolfenbüttel raises concerns about his involvement in criminality related to narcotics.
  2. The routine operation by the police in Lower Saxony necessitated the intervention during an emergency, leading to the discovery of the animals and narcotics.
  3. The level of criminality in the case is warranting a thorough investigation, as the man is accused of violating several protection laws, including those for cannabis, narcotics, and animals.
  4. The poor hygienic conditions of the animals and the presence of narcotics indicate a potential connection between the man's routine activities and criminal actvities, as observed by the witness and confirmed by the police.
