Global computer issues have not affected German military forces based on initial findings, Defense Minister Boris Pistorius (SPD) stated during a visit to the naval base in Eckernförde, Schleswig-Holstein. "I only know that, at the moment, the Bundeswehr is not affected."

Despite the widespread computer problems globally, the Federal military in Germany, specifically the forces stationed in Schleswig-Holstein's naval base in Eckernförde, have not reported any issues as of yet. The Defense Minister, Boris Pistorius, confirmed this during his visit, stating, "I only know that, at the moment, the Bundeswehr is not affected." However, it's important to note that a computer malfunction was recently reported at a military facility in another region of Germany. The Federal military is currently investigating the cause of this incident to prevent any potential future malfunctions. While the Defense Ministry is working diligently to maintain operations, they are also preparing contingency plans in case of any emergency related to computer failures.
