Many people order smartphones and computers online. A postman apparently wanted to take advantage of this and now stands in court.

Instead of keeping it, a package delivery man Smartphones and computers should have been retained by the Berlin State Prosecutor's Office. The man, who is 33 years old, was charged with this, as they announced. Embezzlement, breach of postal secrecy, and forgery of evidentiary data have been attributed to him. In total, he is believed to have obtained goods worth over 12,000 Euro from October 2022 to March 2023.

In three cases, he is alleged not to have scanned the devices during loading into his delivery vehicle, creating the impression that they were still at the parcel center, while he had actually taken them for himself.

In eleven cases, he is said to have conducted the loading scan but not delivered the packages, resulting in them being considered lost. In four cases, he is accused of having scanned the shipments as delivered, although this was not the case.

The 33-year-old delivery man's criminal activities extended to various electronic devices, including computers and Smartphones. The Public Prosecutor's Office in Berlin is currently investigating indictments related to his alleged embezzlement of devices worth over 12,000 Euro, involving breaches of postal secrecy and forgery of evidentiary data. The office is also looking into the suspicious disappearance of several Smartphones and computers from deliveries, allegedly committed by the man.
