An average speed of 193 kilometers per hour exceeding the permitted 130: One of the results of the control carried out by the Rhineland-Palatinate Police on the A6. The officers recorded a total of eleven speeding offenses where the speed limit was exceeded by more than 21 kilometers per hour on Sunday. A 48-year-old particularly stood out, who put an average speed of 201 kilometers per hour on the road with permitted 130 hourly kilometers. A Cabrio driver also exceeded the 130-limit by 63 hourly kilometers. Both are expected to receive a fine and a driving ban.

The traffic on the A6 in Rhineland-Palatinate was heavily monitored due to numerous speeding violations. As a direct outcome of the police control, several fines and driving bans were imposed in Kaiserslautern. The excessive traffic speed, leading to multiple offenses, necessitated stricter police control measures.
