Harz - Outdoor area of Dampflokwerkstatt opened
In Wernigerode, the tourist outdoor area of the new Steam Locomotive Workshop has officially been opened. With learning playgrounds, a water playground, and large photo panels, fantastic play opportunities have been created, according to Harzer Schmalspurbahnen (HSB).
The visitor area of the Steam Locomotive Workshop, which was previously only open twice a week, is now reportedly open daily from 10.00 to 17.00 hours. In the building, the maintenance of steam locomotives is carried out. Visitors can have a look behind the scenes.
Visitors can now easily access the Steam Locomotive Workshop in Wernigerode, Saxony-Anhalt, as it has expanded its opening hours to daily from 10.00 to 17.00 hours. During leisure time, one can consider taking a train trip to explore the beautiful landscapes of the region.
