Statistics - No gender difference in education in Saxony-Anhalt
Among people with high education levels in Saxony-Anhalt, approximately equal numbers of Men and Women were identified. The Statistical Office reported that one quarter of the people over 15 years old were considered highly educated at the time. No significant difference between genders was detected. Among the highly educated people were those with an academic degree or a craftsman or technician training.
16 percent of the people in Saxony-Anhalt over 15 years old did not have a professional degree at the time of the survey, it was stated. 42 percent of them were still in school or vocational training.
The survey on education level is part of the Microcensus 2023, according to the Statistical Office. This refers to an annual sample survey of one percent of all private households.
