Black-Red Senate - New platform should give overview of consulting offers

Information on social consultation and support offers in Berlin should in the future be able to be user-friendly accessed online. The project "Social Berlin" aims to bundle these offers on a common digital platform, as Social Senator Cansel Kiziltepe (SPD) announced.

The goal is to provide orientation for the many different social offers available, which can help in various life situations. The spectrum ranges from applying for child benefit to assistance for single parents, to the determination of care levels.

"It is already a challenge to present the entire offer in Berlin there, and there will probably be over 3,000 offers that we will have to compile," said Kiziltepe. The model project has been in the conceptual planning phase since the beginning of the year. The digital platform is expected to be available at the beginning of next year on the Berlin.de website and can be used by citizens.
