computer problems - Network disruption: Reaching Pforzheim city is difficult
Due to Computer issues, the Pforzheim City Hall is currently only reachable to a limited extent. The reason for the disruption, according to the city's website, is a network failure. The Citizen Center, the Foreigners Office, and the Motor Vehicle Registration Office are particularly affected by the disruption. Both email traffic and the telephone system are disrupted.
Mayor Peter Boch (CDU) stated on Instagram: "There is a really big IT issue worldwide right now, we also have extreme network problems." Today will be a bit sportier than usual, according to Boch.
The computer problem at Pforzheim City Hall is causing significant challenges for the City administration and its associated offices, such as the Citizen Center, the Foreigners Office, and the Motor Vehicle Registration Office, all located within the commune of Pforzheim, which falls under the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Despite Mayor Boch's mention of global IT issues, the city administration is yet to fully restore its email traffic and telephone system.
