European Football Championship - National player Musiala called up for EM team
Jamal Musiala (21), the only German national player in the EURO team of the Union of European Football Associations, was selected. Besides the offensive player of FC Bayern Munchen, six players from European Champions Spain, two French, one English, and one Swiss players were called. The player of the tournament is Spain's midfielder Rodri, and his teammate Lamine Yamal is the young player of the tournament, both of whom are in the EURO team.
Musiala is also one of the six players who share the title of top scorer with three goals each. Germany lost to Spain in the EURO quarterfinals. The team of technical observers consists of twelve people. Among them are former Italian trainer Fabio Capello and the former Dutch national player Frank de Boer.
