No drinking water - Multiple apartments without water and power after cellar fire

After a cellar fire in Gotha (District of Gotha), approximately 40 households are currently without power or water. The fire, which broke out in the cellar of a residential building in the late afternoon, was quickly extinguished by the fire department, as the police reported. However, the water and power supply was interrupted, leaving around 40 households without access to power or water. In some other apartments, there are partial failures. The work for a quick repair is ongoing. The Technical Relief Organization deployed water tankers. Apart from five people, all affected persons were able to return to their apartments. No one was injured.

The fire department in Thuringia, specifically in Gotha, was called due to the cellar fire. The disrupted electricity and drinking water issues are being addressed by the Technical Relief Organization using water tankers. Despite the fire, the majority of the affected individuals were able to return to their residences without harm.
