Unfalle - Motorcycle rider rides on car
A motorcycle rider was severely injured in an accident in the Sonneberg district. The 38-year-old was riding on the B89 highway at Effelder-Rauenstein on Saturday evening and noticed too late that a car in front of him had to brake due to traffic conditions, as reported by the police. The motorcycle rider collided with the car and sustained serious injuries. He had to be taken to the hospital by a rescue helicopter.
The accident occurred in the Sonneberg district, which is part of Thuringia. The Motorcycle driver’s automatic braking system failed to respond in time, leading to the collision. After the accident, the motorcycle rider required emergency medical attention and was transported to the hospital via helicopter.
