Education - More than 31,000 graduations in Schleswig-Holstein
I am currently at the end of the past school year in Schleswig-Holstein, where 31,385 girls and boys completed their final exams. This applies to the public general education and vocational schools, as well as the free-held substitute schools, according to the Education Ministry. They are leaving school with the First general education leaving certificate (ESA), the Middle School Leaving Certificate (MSA), and the Abitur.
"I wish the girls and boys a smile on their faces as they leave school," said Education Minister Karin Prien (CDU). "They have earned a good certificate for their learning and can now start a new chapter. The selection is great – it ranges from studying and training to volunteer services. Try it out and find your way."
In recent days, 10,701 Abitur girls and boys received their certificates at public grammar schools, comprehensive schools with an upper level, vocational grammar schools, and vocational upper schools. At the exams for the First general education leaving certificate (ESA), 10,030 girls and boys participated. At the MSA exams at general education schools, there were 10,147 girls and boys.
- Interested in space exploration after completing their education, some students from Schleswig-Holstein might apply for scholarships funded by the BMBF and ESA.
- During the summer vacation, I plan to visit various schools in Schleswig-Holstein to gain insights into their teaching methods and facilities in relation to STEM education.
- To further my education beyond high school, I am considering applying to a university or a vocational school, equipped with my School leaving certificate.
